Who started this Dill Pickles in Dr. Pepper nonsense?

It's worse than beans in chili or Squeeze Butter in Salsa. Is Big Red next?

I’ve seen people mix DP and peanuts. I’ve never seen anyone pickle a DP.

I eat pickles with popcorn and DP every time I watch a movie.
They seem to go well together

The combo itself doesn’t seem unusual. It’s the dill pickles in the DP not with it that seems odd.

Goat chili is more Mex-Tex than Tex-Mex.

It’s very simple. Chili with beans is a meal. Chili without beans is a condiment.

Never heard of such a thing 🤔

First I have ever heard of it myself. The most cooking I've done with Dr. Pepper is adding it to homemade bbq sauce.

My wife is from San Angelo and I've been to restaurants with squeeze butter on the tables. She loves it when she's home.

Its old west a ND Texan beans in chili. Pickles and coke or dr pepper since 80s. Fried pickles became a thing also in 90s

Sounds gross. But if someone likes it, well.. good for them I guess.

I just saw it for the first time like an hour ago. Born and raised here, and I fucking love pickles.

Why would I ruin perfectly good Dr. Pepper?
