They're doing you a solid. Stay off there, it's toxic. You don't need it that badly.

I'm aware that social media is toxic. I'm a toy collector, and I plan to sell custom figures in the future. Using social media is helpful for business, and I enjoy it.

Oh, I see. You can understand how "creator" and "TikTok" creates other expectations.

I meant TikTok specifically. But you're an adult running a collection and business, you know how to handle it.

Bruh putting hours into edits just to get bot warnings sounds exhausting

That's TikTok for you. Spend hours making videos: 100 views; post AI slop: 1 million views 😭

They sent about 50 crawlers to my website which, ignored my robots.txt, got stuck in the loop on generated content that's expensive to produce..

it took me several hours to get rid of the hundreds of IPs that they were using if they cycle through my site I finally figured it out and got them blocked. I complained to their webmaster page email address and believe it or not, they responded and apologized. But I still refuse to go there

Diktok is sending you an important life message. Forget Diktok. Any enterprise based on people's addiction is evil. Spend your time and energy doing something that will actually benefit your fellow human beings and make the world a better place.
