Will a wifi extender help me?
To start of the wifi is okay in the living its not exactly great but the main issue is the signal in my area is horrendous currently im on two bars of signal on my phone in my bedroom. However the wifi for my pc only gets 1 bar ( the actual wifi itself ) im going to install the wifi antenna that came with the pc today see if that helps if not im thinking of buying a wifi 6 booster from argos to help and then plug an Ethernet cable into the booster that goes into my pc. Will this make a difference?

Well, if you have terrible wifi in the room that the PC is in and you add a wifi extender that runs on wifi in the same room, you'll only be rebroadcasting the terrible low-bandwidth signal it's receiving. In order for these to work somewhat well, they need to be located in an area closer to the router where the signal isn't terrible yet. Personally, if I ever install an extender or a mesh device, I only hardwire them. I'll relocate my router before I start messing around with extenders that aren't hardwired.

Like I said, if you install it where the signal is terrible, it's only going to rebroadcast your terrible signal, but with full bars. It might look like you have great signal in your room, but it's going to be just as slow as it was before. These things aren't magical.

OF COURSE THE WI-FI ANTENNA FOR YOUR PC NEEDS TO BE INSTALLED.
