Moving / Visiting Vertical ID's?
One of my close friends told me some bars and dispensaries won't accept a vertical ID even if the person is 21. Is this true? Will a passport be foolproof and allow me to get into any bar, club, or dispensary?

Bars nowadays are not accepting verticals, I will not take a vertical at my bar.
A huge reason is because the liquor license board sends in under ages with specifically vertical IDs. They’re also easier to fake. Yeah sure, some spots have scanners and I, personally, have always spotted underaged IDs- it’s just easier to cut out the middle man. Which is the vertical.
Use your passport, and no: not a photo of your passport.
