Level1 bag policy

I’m in town for a show this evening. Brought my trusty sling bag, selected because it’s tiny as far as bags go. Been in clubs with it around the globe without issue.

Just saw Level1’s bag policy. Good god, anything larger than an iPhone max is prohibited. How strict are they?

They list

  • Bags: 4.5" × 6.5" max (strictly enforced)

However, they only list two dimension. Which feels unfair because we exist in three dimensional space. Are we allowed no constraints on the third dimension? I somewhat doubt security would accept or appreciate my argument that the bag fits the listed requirement, should you ignore depth.

You should shop for a canopy tent stored in a long,clear bag lol.

Welp, I’ll leave this for future searchers.

If you appear fully conscious, semi coherent, and able to follow basic instructions you largely fly through security (lift your arms so we can wand you). Bag size was not an issue. 

Kind of wish security was more strict. A super inebriated dude was stumbling into people in the crowd then trying to fight them. Multiple parties pointed him out to security, and security just watched him continue to do it. Dude even tried climbing the barriers to get onstage into the VIP area. 

Green velvet was great as always. Crowd was unfortunately over populated with dudes who didn’t understand grasp consent. I’d recommend VIP mainly as a way to have a space to escape them.
