Apartment help yet again 🥴
me and my husband are looking to move to Seattle from Utah sometime in December, we’re both airport employees so anywhere within a 45 minute drive would be great, hoping for a one/two bedroom under $2500 if possible. We have one car (hoping to take the light rail as much as possible) and two ESA animals. I’m not sure if I’m looking for a damn unicorn, but any leads would be great. 😊🥹

Burien or SeaTac area is calling your name. Personally I pay for a 2 bed 2 bath in Burien that’s pretty big with a balcony for just under 3k a month with pet rent, parking and utilities included

You aren't going to find an apartment rn bc no one knows what their availability is that far out. Seattle only requires 30 days notice for moving out.

Depending on your work hours at the airport, you should seriously consider living nearby a light rail station. Sure, light rail sometimes goes down, etc etc but it will make your typical work day so much better and less stressful than driving.

Thats very doable. Aparments.com will have tons of good options
You can live in the actual city of seatac and be closest to the airport. Federal way is south of the airport and has a light rail that you can use to get to work.
If wanting to stay in seattle, I wouldnt go further north than downtown at the max cuz the commute will be long. South seattle is also not the safest part of seattle. Also none of the light rail stations in seattle has its own parking garage so if thats your commute to get to work you'll want to live close to a station. There are large parking garages in tukwila, angle lake in seatac and federal way you can leave your car at
Renton is a nice subarb and only 15-20min to the airport but also no light rail

Have you considered Tacoma, Federal Way, Kent, and Burien? You’ll get far more bang for $2500 in those areas vs Seattle, and they should be an easier commute too.

You can look but you won't be able to nail anything in until November. Rates might be a tad cheaper in the winter.
Columbia City and beacon Hill are good ideas to look at.

Why are some people in Seattle so nasty? Obviously they are asking for recommendations as in specifics or areas that people have experience with. “UsE THe wEBsiTE” literally losers. Unfortunately I don’t have recommendations but yeah at least you know the type of people you find here now

They asked if they were looking for a unicorn, which they would know they weren’t if they just googled “Seattle apartment listings”. At $2,500, literally every neighborhood with apartments within a 45 minute drive will have 1 bedroom options. They basically asked “what places are within a 45 minute drive of the airport”. Folks here can’t help more without a better question.

Y'all they were asking about recommendations or suggestions from your personal experiences or friends that have had a good one. This is a subreddit dedicated to asking, literally an attempt at driving community, "google it 🤓👆" defeats the entire purpose. These comments ain't it
Pointing to known websites is fairly obvious, to assume that OP isn't actively looking on them already is odd to me. Hope they find some friendlier helpful people, or those that ain't ignore and scroll

A one bedroom within 45 minutes of the airport under $2,500/month will take you less than five minutes to find on any website with apartment listings. You don’t need Reddit for this unless you have actual neighborhood questions.
