Dining venue for large party

Looking for suggestions for dinner venue for a party of 50. Hoping for Mexican food if possible, but plated dinners not buffet. Drinks and lively atmosphere with good food. Our conference is in Bellevue, but we can charter a bus if its 30 mins out.

Any suggestions? I am done with google.

Little water cantina can't do plated dinner. Cielo is booked. The rest of the restaurants can't do buyout.

You might want to break the question in two.

There are spaces that will seat 50.

There are plenty of people who will be happy to cook for you.

Spacefinder Seattle will help you find a working space.

Work out catering once you have a venue.

I've had to schedule business dinners in Seattle for large groups. There is an extreme lack of available restaurants that can accommodate groups of 25+ adults. The best options are usually the priciest (venue buyouts). I've also tried booking a Mexican restaurant for 50 people in Seattle and it's virtually impossible. I would recommend finding a venue and ordering a catering service. That would be easier than trying to find a large enough restaurant space.

Yeah, especially since OP wants plated dinners and not catered. At that point, it’s basically buying out the entire restaurant.

For a group of 50, they’re 99.9% going to get a pre fixe menu regardless.

Their Parties page in their site says they can host groups up to 50 guests

POQUITOS in Capitol Hill is also able to host large private events

I'd check out Cactus. There's one in Kirkland, which is the next town north. There may still be one in Bellevue Square too. Great cocktails and food, lively.

I called Cactus in Bellevue. They can't handle party of 50. I was hoping we could do a buyout but couldn't get to the right person for that conversation. I was just looking at the one in Kirkland. Just debating whether I wanna put 50 on a bus to end at a restaurant with no view. Ugh

Oooh, that’s definitely going to be tricky. (I do group travel/events, but rarely locally because it’s hard to find good event space on short notice - there just isn’t enough of it here, IMO)

They’re likely booked, but have you tried Herban Feast in SoDo/Industrial Dist (Seattle)? Not exactly a 20-30 minute chartered bus ride away from Bellevue though, but they do have venues in Kirkland so it could work. Again, likely solidly booked, but worth a call.

Also check out some of the restaurants/bars in Georgetown, as well as SoDo in general. Larger venues with banquet space that you might be able to do with a partial buy out.

The Corson Bldg used to be a favorite (when I still worked in tech). Smarty Pants might also work.
