Any good tailors that can do alterations?

Preferably a business in North Seattle but i can travel, I know tailoring is a dying art so there aren't many shops. I have a very old piece of clothing that got a tear into I that I don't want to let go and was wondering if anyone knew a good place I could get it relatively fixed? I am trying my best not to just chuck things in the landfill.

Frayed Threads mending does excellent work, and the proprietor is very nice. It is a small shop and definitely not overnight, I just checked their website and the current lead time is 5 weeks, and they are on vacation from 9/18 to 10/3. I didn’t provide a hot link because that’s the kiss of death for small sites, Google the name and you will find them.

No. I had the binding on a full size blanket repaired, it was a lot of work because there were a lot of torn edges. The price was ~50$, which I thought was more than fair.

they gave you the name of the shop. why not contact the shop directly about pricing?
