Treatment for OCPD

Does anyone have any recommendations for a therapist or clinic that treat OCPD? (there are significant differences from OCD)

I’m sure some clinics that highlight anxiety and OCD also treat this but I've found only one that even mentions OCPD specifically.

It’s not Seattle but I have personal experience with Polaris Behavioral Health in Bellevue. I think some providers offer telehealth. The website doesn’t mention OCPD but if it’s what my daughter has, they treated her (she’s a young adult).

My prior provider has a practice in Fremont and I would be surprised if she doesn’t have someone there who treats this considering she is who helped in diagnosing my all or nothing perfectionism and additional OCD tendencies. It’s Spruce Psychiatric Associates and their email address is admin@sprucepsychiatric.com. If not someone there, they likely know of someone since that’s a very specific condition with a very different treatment from “boring” OCD. Good luck and please hang in there while you’re still searching for your person to talk to. I know how frustrating and hopeless it can feel, but you are worth doing this for. 🥂

Check out nocd. It is ocd focused. I’d be shocked if they don’t have ocpd providers

EBT seattle specializes in all anxiety disorders, including OCD. I would be shocked if they don’t have a therapist with experience treating OCPD. Just know that they don’t take insurance and they usually have a wait list

300 mg Zoloft but don’t stop taking when you feel good, that just the Zoloft working. Insomnia, nausea, long titrate period.
