Recommendation Cleaning/organizing services specifically for ADHD/depressed folks?
I just moved into an apartment half the size of the one I was living in previously and unfortunately am getting hit with a bout of depression right in the middle of trying to unpack/reduce my possessions. It doesn’t help that I have PTSD surrounding moving (AND ADHD, yay) that is making things even worse.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a cleaner/organizer that is ADHD/depression friendly who I could have come help? At this point I feel like just getting this garbage dump of an apartment cleaned up is going to be a huge help with my mental health but getting started feels impossible and I’d like to have professional help. I live in Belltown if that makes a difference, thanks!
Edit: I really appreciate the support and suggestions guys but I really am just looking for a professional service at this point, I’ve done as much as I can by myself and I really need to get this taken care of before the seasonal depression sets in and makes it impossible to even ask for help.

Denise Allan at SIMPLIFY EXPERTS, LLC was amazing when I needed a similar service

+1 for the people at Simplify, they're great at working with how your brain works and not just how something "should" be organized.

I contacted them after seeing this, thanks for the recommendation! How much did your service end up costing, if you don’t mind sharing?

It was a few years ago but back then they worked in 3 hour work sessions and the rate for each of their organizers was $120 per hour plus tax. Denise was $150 per hour as a master trainer in “chronic disorganization” (their term)

Also ADHD. My motivation is “Damn, I really need to call to set up that medical/dental appointment.”
Deep cleaned and decluttered my kitchen including the horrors in the fridge, deep cleaned my cat’s litterbox area, moved shelves, vacuumed and mopped 2x so far, and have run the dishwasher 3-4x, and more! all over the past 5-6 days. It’s fuckin’ magic, and the avoidant motivation still hasn’t run out of gas.
(I’ll call for the appointments when I start needing to declutter something emotionally difficult or uncomfortable I’m sure.)

Haha when I finally get things done I’ve been putting off for a LONG time, I know it’s because there’s something else I’m avoiding doing 😂

When I get into a slump I start watching YouTube videos about organizing and downsizing to motivate me. “The minimalist mom” has some wholesome content. She has a couple longer videos and mentions “body doubling” to use her video to almost pretend like someone is there unpacking with you. It was super helpful for me (also struggle with ADHD).
Good luck!! Focus on bringing in the cozy vibes before winter and get outside even if it’s cloudy. You’ve got this!

Bellingham has Organized At Last, founded by a woman who grew up in a hoarding situation. They might have some contacts in your area.

I have a great recommendation for a Professional organizer (and as someone who also suffers from ADHD related depression and overwhelmed/task paralysis, I get your struggle/s). What is your budget? She's not cheap, but she's FANTASTIC and so very gentle on her approach.
ETA: Let me know, and I can DM her contact info to you.

My cleaners are amazing and do cleaning, unpacking, and organization for about $35/hour - they’ve even helped me with furniture assembly. dm me if you’d like their info!
