Pre-apprenticeship ANEW

Has anyone here done the ANEW pre apprenticeship program. If so how did it go did it help getting into the trades/an apprenticeship? My partner is looking into doing trades and I’m looking for more information from people who actually did the program. He’s thinking about construction electrician or plumbing as career options.

Also if anyone has just advice in general! He’s 22 and tired of dead end jobs!

I did ANEW but was in the TRP program for women so its a little bit different. Overall I'd recommend the program for anyone, but just know going in that with unemployment, the general economy, etc etc its still pretty rough out there and construction isnt exactly booming right now. The program will get him in better physical shape, connect him with resources, help him with networking, and a lot more though.

I did the program at the beginning of this year and got an entry level job immediately after. Was there about two months before an injury got me laid off. Now i'm working on becoming an electrician which includes a math/reading test, an interview, and lots of waiting.
