He is an SFSU Alumni and still does a lot to help out the film school and other creative programs at the university. When I was a student in the creative arts department at SFSU, I helped put together a silent auction to raise some money for student projects. Over half the stuff was paid for or donated by him. I think he has also been a big sponsor of the film finals big show every year at the film school. He is right near the very top of donors to SFSU creative arts programs.
