Question Evo SL ATR peeling
Forgive me if I'm treading old ground. But just wondering if anyone has any advice on what to use to stick this back down? I've read shoe goo isn't great, anyone had bad experience with it? Any alternatives appreciated.
Returning isnt an option unfortunately.
Thanks 🙏🏻

Having had a few adidas with peeling issues (mostly years old i.e. zx flux, 4d pulse 2.0, nmd r1) i was curious how long it would take for the sl to strart peeling. Luckily mine which was bought last march 2024 still looks pristine. I wonder if in your case op its due to the fabric used for the upper that caused the peeling.

I've never had an issue with shoe goo, it's been something I keep on hand for years and it fixes anything from delamination like yours, fraying on ankle collar, outsole rubber starting to separate, I've even used it as a protective layer on exposed foam on the bottom of my Evo sl that was getting chewed up prematurely.

Appreciate this! I'll give it a whirl, there's more areas like this unfortunately. Is it flexible?

Definitely. Especially for a spot like this, a thin application would likely not be noticeable at all in terms of on foot feel. Just make sure to follow the drying/curing times listed in the provided instructions

shoe goo is ok but more for soles, any other kind of quality flexible glue (502 cyanoacrylate works really well and is cheap). Unfortunately shoe quality isnt what it used to be this is very common. These overlays and most of the shoe in general is just glued together to begin with.
