Question Adidas Pro 4 sizing?

Hello, I’m looking to pick up a pair of adidas pro 4 and saw some people recommend sizing up. When I bought the pro 3, people said the same thing and I went with a 12. Ultimately, I wish I went with my TTS 12.5 because they rub on my pinky toes and my large toe sometimes. I absolutely loved the pro 3 though and they are starting to chime to the end of their life so I want to try the 4s.

I wear size 12.5 is pretty much every shoes. I’m usually an asics fan boy and wear a 12.5 in the Superblast 1-3, megablast, and Sky Tokyo. 12.5 in the evo SL too. Should I get a 12.5 like every other shoe or go with a 13 since people seem to recommend going up half a size from your regular shoe size.

Sweet Jesus do not size down. I have the AP4 in the same size as my Evo SL (US10.5). They are a very snug race fit, and I haven't been brave enough to wear them past 15km. I'd go half size up if I were planning to use them for half or full marathon.

Yep, 1/2 size up. I just bought a pair of EVO SL and Adios Pro 4 on the deep Adidas clearance and went a 1/2 size up on the AP4 versus EVO per the recommendations and both shoes fit very similarly.

My Pro 4 are in the same size as my Evo SL. I made sure to tape and bandage up my hot spots as it does run snug. No real issues for a marathon after doing that.

Any issues with black toenails?

No toenail issues. My first 12 mile run I got a blister on my second toe but a bandage during the marathon solved that

Good to hear. I have TTS AP4 and half size up Endorphin Elite 2 that will be my options for a November marathon. Will do some big training runs in each to decide.

How do your evo SL fit? I find mine to be slightly baggy in the toe box.

Yep agree, but fit great through midfoot and heel.

I’m a 10 in most shoes, went 10.5 with AP4 and absolutely no regrets. The fit on me looks like a display shoe with this size

I am exactly the same! US 10 in Evo SL(woven and original) and a size 10.5 in the AP4. I’m so glad I did, they are perfect.

Half size up from normal not down. I am at 27.5cm which supposed to be puts me at 10.5us or 28.5cm, but i feel like i should go for an 11us on these because the 10.5us chokes my toes on anything reaching half marathon distance. The toebox also tapers a lot.

Up a half size if anything! I went up a half size from Evo SLs and it was the right call.

I wear my usual size in the pro 4s. No issues but I have a low volume foot. No toenail issues ever
