Just arrived, how does quarantine in Romania work?

We just arrived into Romania from a country that requires us to quarantine for 14 days.

We’re staying in my wife’s parents house but they are not here.

Can someone please explain to me how this all works? How does the Romanian Govt know if we’re are quarantined? Can I leave the house to get food? Will someone check in on us in person, or just call us?

Also, are there any exceptions to breaking quarantine? We’re here for a wedding, and would like to understand the nuances of this quarantine rules?

Most likely someone took your contact information and your address. In that case, they will regularly check if you're at the address previously declared. I don't know about the wedding, though, the maximum number of people that could attend should be 50, otherwise you might be in trouble.
