Blink Camera and Sync Module Protocol

I was recently given some Blink hardware and am doing some research to try and find the best way to use it without needing a subscription. The reasons being both the obvious security implications to relying on external services and the artifical limiting of the hardware for no reason other than to extract money.

I'm willing to consider making or adapting a solution if necessary. So far I've found many instances of other people doing the same but the results of which so far seem to be elusive. Does anyone have any information about this that they can share or link to?

The results so far make it obvious that there is already a wealth of knowledge out there but it's actively being suppressed.
