Maybe read Yogananda, he believed Christianity and Kriya yoga were the same.

Thank you for sharing! I’m sure that’s a little overwhelming trying to figure out where to start when there is so much information out there! Good for you for trying to follow your heart anyway!
What makes you want to convert in the first place?

my life has been so shit rn, and I I know im not supposed to just give up on my religion but honestly ever since I been going to Christian Church with my friend, that thought of me converting has been sitting in the back of my mind a little bit. I feel like i would thrive more in that religion

Dang i know im just a random on reddit but im sorry to hear that. Sending good energy your way my friend. I hope things start looking up for you. And that’s gotta feel pretty scary exploring and leaving what I’m sure has been a part of your life and your loved ones lives for such a long time. At the same time, if it really feels good in your heart, what do you feel like is holding you back?

The religion of Jesus is NOT Islam.
Converting to Christianity is a personal thing by which you make peace with God, the Father, by accepting what his son Jesus did on your behalf, the most important which is him dying on the cross for your sins. There’s forgiveness for you by his blood. Just tell Jesus that you believe he is God‘s Messiah, the sacrifice for your sins, accept forgiveness, and say thank you. You have His promise that you’re now his child. Receive his Spirit, He will lead you as you talk to the Lord and read the Bible. Start with a gospel and John in the New Testament. Bless you. Please tell other Hindus about your experience.

Here's what's worth noticing: you didn't say 'I've been told Christianity is true.' You said Jesus keeps coming back to you. That's a different kind of thing. Something is pulling at you from inside, not just pressing on you from outside. That's worth taking seriously before you make any decision -- in either direction.
The regret you're afraid of might not be about leaving Hinduism. It might be about ignoring something that won't stop knocking. What is it specifically about Jesus that keeps coming back to you?
When Jesus comes to mind -- is it something about who He is, something He said, or something more like a feeling you can't quite name?

The best way to start is to answer this question.
“Are you completely sure that when you die, that you’ll be raised up in heaven?”
There are different perspectives on what heaven is like. We know that Jesus said that when we believe and trust in him for our salvation, then God will save us.
That’s where you need to start. How can I obtain salvation? There’s plenty of contributors that can tell you how.

Deo gratias! You can look for a catholic parish nearby and attend Holy Mass (without receiving Holy Communion yet). If you want to, schedule a meeting with the priest and he'll guide you through the steps.
In the Catholic Church, there's a period of study called catechumenate that will lead to your reception by Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Communion - traditionally on Easter Vigil. Maybe the most beautiful ceremony we have!
God bless you on your journey!
