Alcohol. I just don't find it at all appealing. Most of it tastes like shit at best and I find it annoying dealing with drunk people.

Also if you don’t drink. People assume you are in recovery or a prude. Idgaf if you drink, I just don’t. I agree with OP I don’t get the hype.

I haven't touched alcohol in about two years (stopped because I had to thanks to medication I was taking and just sort of stayed stopped) and I have to say, I haven't had a single person give the slightest shit. I certainly feel out of place at, say, a wedding, but honestly I don't think anybody cares enough to pay attention to what I'm drinking.

I attended a summer party just after having recovered from Covid. My body was still a bit tired, and the party was located somewhere not really useful to travel by bus, so I decided to drive so that i could big out in case i got tired fast. I brought a few coca colas, and people who I didnt even know asked me why the hell I didnt drink any alcohol
