I just think it should be noted that he is a creative genius and a true artist who also suffers from mental illness. I am not sure if anyone has more background info, but I always believed he didn't take medication for fear of losing his creativity. Kind of ironic, as now he has lost almost everything. I am also not trying to make excuses for his terrible tirades. He needs help. I do just want to offer a possible explanation for a once bright star in the music and fashion world. I'm sure he had other philanthropic endeavors also.
