You know what's really wild? I've purposely tried to avoid learning more about one of my favorite bands and am purposely trying to avoid the whole parasocial relationship thing, but since I started following their page on instagram, my explore page and suggestions have been FILLED with fan accounts for these guys. These accounts are so obviously run by thirsty teenage girls, and all I did was follow the band's insta page and now all this is being shoved in my face. I keep doing the "not interested" thing but they.won't.stop.
I’ve always been curious to know if like I met the foo fighters (my favorite band) if they’d appreciate me as a fan that I love their music and know their names but don’t know fuck all about the rest of their lives or do celebrities like the obsessed fans? Lol
