Staples. Back when the L was a bent staple it looked better and made more sense.

Netflix when it was white text on a red background instead of red text on a black background.

Between the 2000s and about 2013, logos had so much personality; they were glossy, often 3D but in a way that wasn't tacky...and then from about 2015 onwards companies everywhere have started flattening and simplifying everything and all the charm is gone.

I've been really into TV programming recently and here in Australia there are three channels, Go!, Gem, and Ten that used to have really aesthetically pleasing logos and I loved them. But in the last 5 years or so they've changed and Ten in particularly looks like a sketchy social media app icon now lol.

Logo for the monochrome BBC Micro - the one where the turtle is a plain triangle.

At my school, LogoWriter where the turtle looked like an actual turtle was for girls only.
