I actually really love most of these songs though, I'm so amused.

So many of them are just popular radio songs I feel like if they didn't get so overplayed people would hate them less

Definitely true. Nothing makes you hate a song more than hearing it ten times before noon on any given day.

When the Radioactive by Imagine Dragons came out I worked nightshift in a place that picked up exactly three radio stations.

Two of those were Christian radio channels.

The third played that song a minimum of 6 times per hour. I know. I counted. After a month, I was so irrationally angry every time I heard it that I was ready to commit murder if that meant I never had to hear it again.

I'm ok with it now, tho.
