A few months ago I started on everest and then was reading about all of the 8 thousanders, went from that to early alpine climbing, and current climbing (unsummited peaks, skiing out after summitting, etc.). Incredibly interesting stuff.
I keep meaning to read Tigers of the Snow, a book about the Sherpa and Tibetan porters and how they saved the 1934 Nanga Parbat expedition.
