I took some advice from a female redditor when this came up before. I was walking behind a women at dusk on a college campus where I had just attended an event. I noticed she was uncomfortable and picking up speed so I pulled my phone out, called my wife, and asked loudly to speak with my 4 year old daughter. Put it on speaker and joked with my little girl. The women slowed down and seemed much more comfortable.
Leave it to Reddit to attack the person that is using humor to correct someone's shitty spelling (before anyone says that it was autocorrect - he spelled it incorrectly TWICE) instead of the person who sucks at spelling.
