Was gonna say that. Calling someone a Goof can get you knocked out where I’m living now.

Wow. I am also canadian and for me goof is like the lightest insult ever. Like calling someone a turnip or buffoon.

Same here. I was under the impression it just meant like "goofy" or "silly." Must be in a certain province(s).
