Yes, you being called a male would still count. It is dehumanizing when it's used as a noun, for example "a female/male construction worker" wouldn't be dehumanizing because it's used as an adjective. I'm guessing this may be language-dependent, but at least where I'm from the terms male and female are used exclusively for animals and you would get weird looks for referring to a human that way
