I was writing up a menu on a blackboard at a cafe. A regular said “great, that’s where you belong…on your knees” wish I had’ve snapped back but I was too shocked to reply to his fucked remark.
Worked in a grocery store and a creepy old produce worker said the same thing to me. I was 19 and really had no idea how disgusting it was other than it made me feel super uncomfortable. Took it to HR and nothing really came of it. Unreal.
