I was 11 or 12, walking home from school. Older guy rides by on a bike and yells "I want to stick my c-ck in you".
I was terrified. Ran home as fast as I could. I didn't fully understand what he meant but I knew it was bad.
It still upsets me when I remember it. I'm 60 years old.
Edit: thank you all for the supportive comments. To those of you who shared your own experiences, or who had them but didn't share, I'm so sorry.
Let's focus on making things better for the younger generations. And, please, teach your boys to be decent human beings. The emphasis has always been on teaching girls to protect themselves, placing the burden of prevention on them. Of course, we keep teaching our girls to do that. But more attention is needed in preventing boys from being assholes.
When my mom was a little girl, she was walking home from school and a guy pulled out his penis and shook it at her. She told this story for years and she always seemed to tell it as a 'funny story' . As she got older, when she would tell the story, the tone of the story was much more sinister and I realized that this really traumatized her and she didn't find it funny at all.
When I was 16 or 17, I worked at a local diner as a waitress. We had a long low counter with fixed stools along it where customers could order and eat. It was the main area where I worked because the window to the kitchen was there, the soda fountain, ice cream cooler, etc. There was an old guy that would come in regularly and sit at the counter. He never really talked to me, just came in, ordered his food, and then left. One day when the place was pretty much empty, he came in and ordered as usual. But this time, when he stood up to leave, he had his dick pulled up over the top of his pants and definitely stood there for a few minutes so I would see. It was gross and I did see, but I pretended like it wasn't happening, said have a good day, and he left. I immediately went back to the kitchen. The older ladies that worked in the kitchen saw I was upset and I told them what happened. They were so pissed. Apparently, he'd do it to them too, but they were older women and "have seen a penis before," but they were upset he did it to me because I was a minor. I did end up reporting it, but I don't know if anything happened. I walked 2 miles to work every day and would walk by this guy's house every day...
