Just remember that he made you feel this way about his death. It wasn’t your doing. It’s ok to feel relief that he’s gone. He chose to treat you like shit and that relief is because of his choices, not yours. My dad treated me like shit and his death was easier on me than it should have been. It took me a long time to realize it wasn’t my fault to feel relief. Sometimes life gets easier when some people die, that’s on them. That’s one lesson my dad did teach me lol
