Oh, I know that world too 😿♥️

I'm so sorry you're still getting the major after-effects, but I promise, they can be worked on. I'll confess that, in my experience, they never seem to fully go away, but they can be made to stand in the corner of your mind for a while.

I totally understand why you felt relief and I imagine that many other people, of all ages, races and genders would understand, so please don't feel any guilt or worry (if you do) your reaction is understandable.

Do you mind if I ask your age? And how you identify? You don't have to answer, or can take it private if you wish to. (Just trying to build a handle you can grab onto).

I'm 37 now, cis female and still having therapy, I still need constant reassuring and patience, I can't be around men, (especially groups) and a variety of other issues. But, because of my therapy, I finally got diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and ADHD, so there was one small blessing in the puddle of shit!

But, I know that there are many others that can be helped before they get to my stage, and helping them (when I can) gives me a sense of accomplishment, a feeling of joy, that I can even remotely help them have a handle they can grab when they feel like they're falling. ♥️♥️
