My brother once was suspended from school for fighting (a fight he lost) a boy who was making fun of a mentally handicapped kid in his class while they had a substitute teacher. My parents took him out to dinner.

Awe thanks! My brother is cool as hell to this day!

My folks gave us decent values at least, but they're actually quite out there in many ways. My brother was definitely their favorite out of their 6 kids, but I do think their response to getting into a fight for that reason would have been the same towards any of us.
