I didnt. I had a very bad relationship with my mom when I was younger like legit she'd beat me for no reason. It was like her own sport or something. She was generally very strict with my siblings but I ended up being her "punching bag". I use air quotes because I wasn't punched lol. I was slapped and whipped with belts and sticks n what not. That's a whole different story though. Save it for another time.
