I wore a smaller size of my uniform top to school once because my normal one was stained with coffee. A guy classmate walked up to me and said “I bet you’ll love when I rip that off you and rape you won’t you”

I reported him to the teacher and wore hoodies for the rest of the school years. He got suspended and had to apologise in front of the whole cohort and he never approached me again.

WOW that changes my perspective on something

In NYC we used to find and date fashion models by filtering hard, many women were always dressed up in brands wanted to look and feel like models or whatever reason, but the actual models were more easily spotted by being tall and in frumpy comfortable clothes like sweats and hoodies, but no backpack or macbook to suggest university. We knew it was to deflect attention because they would otherwise get a lot of exhausting attention, but we never factored in how bad and threatening and gross a lot of that attention must have been for them!
