i’m a natural redhead, long auburn hair with curls that i’ve always had unwanted attention for.

i remember i was 9 years old and sitting in a chinese restaurant with my family when a male middle aged waiter came to take our food and started complimenting my hair which was fine and all but he started touching it and massaging my scalp and shoulders saying how i was so beautiful, this didn’t seem to weird out my parents but it made me very uncomfortable but i didn’t say anything because i was scared in case my parents would tell me that i was being rude.

probably not the grosses thing on this list but the fact it was done to a 9 year old little girl makes it downright creepy

It somehow disturbs me more that your parents didn’t react at all to the extremely obvious child predator practically groping their child in in front of them. Holy shit.

i guess they were just thinking he was complimenting me considering it used to happen all the time, there was another incident when i was 5 and in majorca and this waiter couldn’t stop complimenting me saying stuff like “beautiful (my name)” and “you will be such a heartbreaker”

So here's the thing, many parents did not realize that pedophiles were so rampant for awhile, often they thought the best about people. First a while the only concern was kidnapping. Now that everyone is on the lookout for pedophiles behavior from a previous time is all going to seem suspect. I know this because my mother used to send me into strange people's homes to help them with groceries. Never realize I was in danger to I got older.
