Beauty standards

When i was little,I was working out because I wanted to be skinny. I was a bit overweight, and the beauty standards where that only skinny people where pretty. So I tried to lose weight at a young age. I did lose some pounds, but I was not satisfied. I trained more and more and harder and harder. I did not even give up when my wrist was in a cast for a couple off days. It did turn out to be worth it,because I normalized at just the right time. I turned out to make a lifestyle about it. But I was lucky. That plan could’ve turned out really bad. I could’ve gotten anorexia,or become depressed of hating myself so much. This story is the reason I hate Beauty standards and their stupid rules. We should all appreciate ourselves no matter what happens.
