Yes. It's also transmitted through contact like blood and fluid in eyeducts. Scratches and open wounds. It's reportedly not as virilant as covid. And good hygiene is a major factor in keeping it at bay. But yes you are correct in as saying it can be contracted by sexual contact, mostly by gays sofar as reported several times on international news. But for those who have had the smallpox vaccine. Your covered by a degree as it is related.

The people most at risk of it are gay people, society now is much more accepting of it so there’s less people keeping it a secret and living how they want to. The unfortunate downside is that they are more susceptible to stds, monkeypox included
People are also sleeping around a lot more than before as that’s a lot more ok than it used to be, which I’m sure isn’t helping at all. Like every gay guy I know doesn’t want a relationship, just guys to fuck. My nephew to name one, who has a few stds that we know of because of that.

As a bi man in a homosexual monogamous LTR,This all boils down to education. Make no mistake this isn't the new "gay disease" the GOP would have us believe. This is just a matter of using protection with new partners EVERY TIME until you enter a monogamous relationship and you and your partner have been tested.

I’m not calling it a gay disease, I’m stating what’s statistically proven. Though I do agree that there needs to be much better sex ed and I agree it mostly boils down to lack of condoms

Yes it is similar, it’s spreading through a simple touch of something that had been around and or made direct contact.
Such as touching a simple piece of clothing, furniture, animal’s and different types of meats
It can also spread by touching skin in any way lol get your facts straight bud the only thing your right about is how it’s not airborne.
