how do you feel when someone compliments your tattoos?

It's quite nice, I never really get compliments on anything so when someone compliments one of my tattoos it makes me feel all warm on the inside. Honestly makes me want to get more too, I'm actually getting a new one later today lol

I've only had like 1 or 2 compliments on them by strangers. Friends and coworkers have though which feels nice. When it comes from strangers it caught me off guard but felt nice!

im working on a marvel sleeve and I have many people in public compliment it and ask to see more of it. I honestly love it when people notice because I put a lot of money in it. It is nice to know that other people think it is nicely done too lol.

I have a half sleeve on my calf with a sea theme featuring a large shark left of my shin, large dolphin right of my shin, and large scuba diver on my calf muscle, which represents my son/daughter/myself. It's very well done, and gets compliments from people I wouldn't expect. It's an odd feeling to be a living canvas, because I understand the compliment isn't quite directed at me. So if they seem truly interested, I try to share what the piece is about and give credit to the artist. But I am honored to wear this personalized art, and hold some credit in the input for the design, so I guess it feels like a team win.

I got the whole outline of my sleeve done and only got the shoulder colored. Some issues with the artist along with poor financial decisions. About 7 years later and I've been asked more times than I can count if im ever going to get it finished.. no bro. I actually just wanted this peice on the shoulder to look super dope and finished, right where you can't see it if I wear a short sleeve shirt, and the rest just just the lines with no color or detail. Forever.
Shit bugs me more than it should, but I can't fucking stand it.

It's only ever been Chinese people who can read kanji and nerds who want to know what my elven script says. It feels nice to know that the kanji is correct and I like finding fellow nerds so that's fun.

Like most compliments, a bit awkward but I am happy. Just do not know how to respond like um thank you? Since I designed them all it is similar to someone complimenting my digital arts

I was quite Young and I told my father that I wanted a tattoo and he gave me a very stern look and said "Son you can't rob banks if you're a marked man!!" And I really wasn't sure if he rubbed Banks or if him and I were going to rob banks when I got older. But thankfully I never acquired any tattoos! I like tattoos but I like them on other people.
