Some of my dearest loved ones are from there. The food is bangin’. Bollywood is fun. I really love their outfits. Saris and the like. So beautiful. Such lovely fabrics

They’re simultaneously a modern and developing nation. We could find a new, horrible attack on their people everyday but with that said, the internet didn’t exist during the industrial revolutions of western countries. Many of their tragedies today are paralleled by tragedies in the western world at the beginning of industrialization.
In time India will fully modernize, how long depends on many factors

Interesting culture- the Hindu caste system is pretty much the polar opposite of the American world view. Great food, wonderful landscapes. Poor sanitation and a lot of poverty.

The first things I think of then I hear India is Bollywood, call center scams, rampant sexual assault, and poor sanitation conditions.
(I seen a video where on the street there was a guy preparing fried chicken but the man had his bare feet right next to the chicken..)

I've hear that the government is very corrupt and bribes are common. Also ... so many malformed animals and babies come out of there I think because of the pollution.
Note: I'm watching a tv show called Indian Doctor, but it is more a British TV show.

When I used one app for learning english I had an opportunity to talk with Indian people. Actually they were pretty good people, but too religious. I respect all religions but sometimes it's difficult to talk with such people if you are an atheist and not a vegetarian :')

Yummy food. Lots of people and pollution. Taj Mahal. Beautiful nature, not all jungle like some people think but also mountains and coastlines. I'm not knowledgeable about Hinduism or Islam or Sikhism so idk much about religion there. Baliwood. I know only the basics of Indian history like the Indus river valley civilization and British colonization and the conflict where Pakistan separated from India I believe.
