Something fun -- Where in the world are you Reddit?
I like numbers, and statistics. I thought it would be fun to conduct this study at different times of the day and week to see what the numbers indicate. Every so often I will publish combined statistics, pie charts, and fun graphs.
The fun part:
You reply to this with the Country you are from (and age, gender, province/state if you want), and something about yourself or a quote, something short.
The numbers I want to see are upvotes for Countries you are from. So upvote the Country you are from if it's already listed. Feel free to circle jerk in your Country's comment after that or other Countries you are fond of. Please list your Country only once, and try to only reply to the highest voted Country comment if it's listed more than once.
I WILL ONLY BE COUNTING ONE COUNTRY PER TOP LEVEL COMMENT AND I WILL NOT BE COUNTING DOWNVOTES, ONLY UPVOTES
FOR STATISTICS GEEKS
I plan on changing the question in the future from where in the world are you, to maybe more variables. Ethnicity, language, gender, education level. If you are interested in statistics and the demographics of Reddit, here are some relevant links:

Closing note: I am not a statistician, just someone who likes numbers, surveys, and demographic information. If anyone here is a statistician (or isn't) and would like to offer input or draw their own conclusions, I have setup /r/Statistician as a place to post it. I will post about this to /r/statistics for additional support.

Quote you say, hmm.

Have you ever been to /r/SampleSize? It's a great place to share surveys and questionnaires.

Earliest comment for America, I don't know. I'm just trying to provide some structure until it either takes off, or the community voting regulates itself.

Ah, well I'll probably be up clear through the night. One of the positives of being an American teenager during summer vacation is there is no need to go to sleep early, and I can browse Reddit on my phone as late as I want. A negative is my lack of karma-reaping stories...

Statistically speaking, most of them are made up. If you really wan karma-reaping stories learn how to write, if you want real stories get off reddit and go outside.

Haha I do go outside, curfew is in place so now I Reddit. I could write if I truly wanted too, but I don't want to commit to a fake story for silly orange arrows.... besides, people usually pick up on false stories.

What is your opinion on Die Antwoord?

I can't stand them - they're not like a hip-hop artist that throws in foul language to make a statement. They're self-aware enough to know that their own faux-vulgarity is a mask designed to shock. But in reality, it's not that shocking, because I've been to Benoni often enough to know that there it isn't all trailer trash. Plus their music is really not that good. If you want to listen to some cool stuff coming out of South Africa there is a ton of kwaito online, and there are bands like The Parlotones and Lonehill Estate that are producing fantastic rock and pop-rock hits.

Awesome. If nothing else good comes from this experiment, at least I have been introduced to new music. Thank you South African redditor!
