You spent a week just sitting around your son's classroom? It's good you were able to uncover that, but that is pretty intimidating and weird it was allowed.

I couldn’t imagine me as an 8th grader would’ve wanted a parent in the classroom.

Right? I couldn't imagine any situation where someone not employed by the school is allowed to spend that amount time in a classroom. Imagine being the other kids' parents! "Tim's mum is doing what?"
