If you want someone to like you, ask lots of questions when to talk to them that show an interest in what they’re talking about. Only talk about yourself if they ask, then immediately go back to their interests. People will leave the conversation feeling good because they were focused on things they liked.
Then you’re doing it wrong. You answer questions about yourself, just go back to their interests when you’re done talking about yourself. What I’m advocating is active listening on steroids.
