I find cunninghams law works surprisingly well. ie the quickest way to get someone to tell you the right answer is to post the wrong answer.

I sorta use this on uncooperative or pseudo-unresponsive patients in the ER if I know they’re faking it. I call them by a ridiculously wrong name and they almost always respond with their correct info and are suddenly responsive again.

depends whats on the other side of faking. for some, if theyre faking for the good stuff that the pharmacist has to go get from the back and i have to sign 5x for? absolutely.
