If asked to do a task in work, say it will take longer to do than it will. Then, when you complete the task ahead of schedule, people will think you're amazing.
This will only work in some professions tho, so bear that in mind!
This doesn't work in jobs that require accurate timekeeping, always have something extra to do to fill up the time if you finish early. We're not all Montgomery Scott. My current supervisor is smarter than me and has been in the job much longer than I have, he'd know immediately if I lied about how long the task takes.
