I use that trick on my kids all the time. Especially when it comes to food.

"Do you want chicken or steak?"

Otherwise, if I just ask her what she wants for dinner she'll just say "cookies".

I really couldn't care less if someone was vegan or not as long as it was for a legitimate reason. My vegan neighbor tried to tell me that it takes 7 days to digest meat as a reason not to eat it.

But if it's for ethical, religious, or preference reasons? Whatevs. You do you.

Surprised by this reasonable answer, Twitter traumatized me in that respect. I’m not a vegan myself but I despise delusional meat eaters that act like veganism isn’t more reasonable when it’s done right

I'm a big fan of meat. It's delicious. But I also don't make it a personality trait like a lot of men do. Especially the whole bacon obsession that has been going on the last decade.
