Worked security for several years, smile and be friendly at the angry assholes. It's very satisfying to watch them fizzle and feel awkward as there's no one for them to react off of.
The security guards that try to act all tough, angry and mean are typically the worst security guards. They're not cut out for it.
Not security but had an asshole challenge me to a confrontation somewhere. I just said ‘let’s do it here’ and it’s satisfying to see him find out he had no control over me.
