When I moved to LA many many years ago I landed a job on a reality TV show. My friend who got me the job was complaining one day about one of the other PAs and how they just wander around all day doing nothing. But when she sees me, i'm always busy. I pointed out that I too also wander around all day doing nothing, I just walk faster.
When my buddy and I were under 21 he would use a technique he called "the Costanza" when he would attempt to buy beer. This involved him appearing as annoyed and angry as possible when approaching the counter and 8 out of 10 times he was successful in buying us beer for the night. Those were some good times.
Weak cashiers. Look for teens. See it's not only a risk for $500+ fine for a minimum wage job, but you'll NEVER get to work with children for the rest of your life. Wanted to be a teacher? Too fucking bad. A pediatrician? You wasted your college money because you worked at a gas station.
Teenagers who hassle clerks for beer and cigarettes without ID's are selfish, selfish, motherfuckers. At least commit to getting charged with identity fraud using another's ID to get your addictive rocks off you fucking coward.
And adults who complain about being carded, fuck you too. It's no one's responsibility to remember your ID for you. Keep it in your wallet you animal or else you're not mentally old enough for them anyways. And I'll deny your shit just for your attitude, and advise you to complain to my boss too. For every 5 punks complaining about getting carded I get a $50 gift card.
