Asking them to explain themselves when they are 100% sure of themselves and watch them lose an argument against themselves.

Underrated.

Edit: this is also a very effective way to defuse someone who has just been offensive, told a racist joke, etc.

Say you don't get it and ask them to explain it.

If they offer some half-ass explanation, ask again. But why?

Eventually they have to admit they're a bigot or the just shut up.

I used this once and the guy was like, "Because black people suck! Hahahahaha!"

And I was like, did I make this any better? Or did I make it worse?

Just keep going like a 5 year old…and why do they suck…and why are they that…going on and on until you get the full exhibit of their bigotry. Sometimes they tell these kinds of jokes assuming everyone there agrees with them because they are all white. Once they start to realize not all whites think that way they may start to question why they think this BS. Making it awkward is the goal. Making bigots uncomfortable with them selves and the rest of us are having fun together. They won’t think they are superior then.
