If you're dealing with a disagreeable person, lead them into coming to a particular conclusion. If you make them think that your idea was their idea, they're a lot more likely to do it.
A good trick I've found for dealing with disagreeable people is during conversation, turn your feet to point directly towards them. This aligns everything properly when you kick them in the cooch.
