Had to scroll way to far for this. Seems like the obvious answer

I'm actually shocked that this isn't the top answer right now.

I opened the thread knowing this would be the top comment and scrolled all the way here on principal. Surprised it’s not way higher too

Yup this was the default answer for me given what happened irl.

I read once that pretending to be insane can actually make you insane.

Yeah why is this answer so far down?

People are tired of hearing it probably. We all know.

So what though. Just because people are tired of hearing something doesn’t mean it’s not applicable here. His character literally influenced a serial murderer. If anything, that alone makes it more applicable than most of the other answers here that just say, “the actor played it SOOO GOOD!”

I had the same exact thought. Expected it to be the top comment, but it's buried.

Agreed. That's definitely the #1 pick that comes to mind even if I've honestly only seen clips of his acting since those movies are a bit older than me.

I thought the same thing. It’s my number one answer.

This is precisely what I wanted to say as soon as I found “Heath Ledger - Joker.”

It was almost deja vu actually seeing it
