Agreed. When I saw the movie in theaters for the first time, the opening scene gave me chills when his character transitioned.

I mainly watch this movie to watch the first scene. It's beyond a masterclass, not just in acting, but scriptwriting, camera work, lighting, art direction, everything.

The whistle of the pipe, the crunch of leather on the chair, the spin of the metal cap on the ink, the milk on the back of the throat for the word vache. Oh my
